Documentary

Long or short-form documentary work is something I really enjoy. I was hired to follow the building of Dexter Yard on South Lake Union in Seattle. What started out as a couple of photo shoots of the site for some early 'buzz' marketing before even breaking ground, turned into a 3 1/2 year project where I'd shoot 2-3 times a week. The end result was a 285 page 'coffee table' book of my work. Capturing the essence of the people and the work they did was a really fun challenge and I love the quote from the Turner executive when he looked at book.
